For your next platformer, I suggest you focus on that - spend as many hours as it takes to make movement - jumping and moving around - as clean and intuitive as possible. It would be cool if you could pick up the blocks and throw them or somehow control them. Ah I got an idea. Move the character with WASD. Add blocks and move them with the mouse.
