Alternative title: "I'm Tired, and I Really Had No Idea What to Call This"
The idea behind this was the quote "Don't bring a knife to a gunfight". So I though of a game where you have a sword, whereas everyone else has guns.
IMPORTANT: You can hit bullets/beam thingies out of the air.
EDIT: Also there is a way to win. You gotta scale the big tower thing (which is randomly generated floors). Then at the top you can hit the red thingie, which was supposed to represent the heart of the building or something like that.
Controls:
arrow keys - move
z - jump
x - swing sword
Wish I could have done more with this, as is usual for ludum dares :P Not 100% happy with it. But I'm happier with this then I have been with other games. I really liked my original idea, but I definitely did not execute it as well as I would have wanted :( Oh well. Next time.

Definitely has potential! I like the concept but the character slid around a lot. Slicing the enemies was really satisfying. Maybe reducing the "air time" would have helped to maneuver around the bullets though.

Make a Windows version cause most likely only 1/4 of the people here have a mac :|

interesting concept! the character controller needs a little work it feels too heavy. its really satisfying to slice bullets tho.

I like what you got going so far. The controls feel a little floaty. It makes it hard to pull off the sweet sword attack moves as I glide around.

Super floaty controls made that one section with all the turrets tough to get through. I like the idea of being able to cut down the projectiles. Makes the character seem powerful.
