I think your game have much potential but it not fit this LD theme. Lack of sound and music dont help. The mechanics is very good and intersting. Graphics are simple, sure, but are perfect for this.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>I kind of love games with this kind of setup and mood, even though I'm usually bad with strategy games.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Missing a little bit of audio, but it isn't te essential here. I played this way too many times and finally won in 14 Months with a -48 stability in Africa and hit exactly 100%. It feels like you need a lot of patience to win this one but it is rewarding. With the psionic abilities and plasma weapons left behind, the nations are now turning inward and beginning pointless wars. In the midst of this conflict, the S-COM project is one again activated - but this time, to preserve order.\r\n\r\nStrike a careful balance between the continents, and develop the Mind-Control bomb before one of them falls into chaos - or the world will go with it...\r\n\r\n---\r\n\r\nThis game is, of course, based on the story of X-COM. In the latest remake (Enemy Unknown), there's lots of questioning about \"what happens after the aliens are gone\/what do we do with all this tech\/how will it change humanity?\" but the game never explores the idea. Here's my take on it, in strategy-game spreadsheet-crunching continent-clicking form.\r\n\r\nIf you get into the game and have no idea what to do, check out the \"Help\" button at the top-right.","title":"S-COM: Aftermath"}
