Obsolescence by kmitz
At the dawn of Humanity, great thinkers were figuring out one of the biggest problem of their time: the wheel was born. Such injustice was unbearable for all the hard-working square wheels that brought some much to our hairy ancesters.
You, supporter of the square wheel, go and fight obsolescence by upgrading yourself to a super-powered mega-wheel! Justice will triumph!
Have fun!

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.
Seriously though, very nice atmosphere - it's well polished and pretty unique. Like you don't "roll", but you kinda-sorta-roll. :P
The art is lovely and the music particularly is great, gives the game a nice melancholy atmosphere. I have to say I got a bit stuck once I'd found the chisel and become round, not really sure where to go next. But I might come back and have another go when I have some more time :)
Spoilers:
A cogwheel that clicks right into dinosaur bones? Genius.
However, I did not get all the progressions. I was the cogwheel and came to a fire place (after you build the wood bridge). It looked like I could get the next update there, but I guess I was there too early or too late? I could not progress and did not find anything else.
Were there hints in the cave drawings? I could not decipher them.
The big open world was pretty, but it was a little too big to know where I should be going. I stumbled upon the upgrades by chance rather than strategy.
Sadly I ended in a landfill ... Maybe there is a better ending ?
Music fits perfectly to the game, Thanks !
As for things to improve, there was a painfully high chirping sound in my right headphone at a certain point in the square wheel's song, which took away a bit of the atmosphere. I also ended up needing to ride the elevator four times, so I'd probably appreciate if that was a little faster too.
None of this stopped me enjoying the game, though! This makes me wish the rating system was in place this LD, so I could give it full marks!
In some situations it was hard for me to tell if something is in the foreground or background.
The controls felt somewhat "vague".
Overall very pretty and atmospheric, cool!
Great job!
