Lets be honest, it was a sword. That said, I had a lot of fun playing it and the boss fight at the end was great.

Very fun. More enemy types would have made it more interesting, like enemies that throw things. Also, like one of the other commenters mentioned, the unconventional weapon doesn't affect the game play at all.

I knew that celery in the back of the fridge would have a use some day! The Carrot King was excellent. Enjoyed playing this.

I highly enjoyed this one! The game mechanics flows on very nicely. I would happily have played more levels. It feels like you have a lot of tools here to build a more extensive game.

Another thought, the never-ending stream of monsters at the last screen could easily be converted to survival mode :)

Short but fun. And a bit too easy ;D Having a survival mode at the end is an interesting idea, too. Also notable that you implemented a boss. There are not many entries with a boss fight!

Very fun little platformer! Might have looked slightly better if the textures weren't antialiased but not a big deal.

Nice work! I was very impressed by the boss fight. Graphics and audio could use some work, but overall a fun, quick game!

Thumbs up for the celery sword animation :D A suggestion for next time might be to be a bit more creative with the theme. Embrace the theme! Anyway, grats on a solid entry for a js game.

I liked the concept but the final boss was too easy but other than that good game.

Samurai was not that apparent.

Nice little action platformer. Killing enemies lacks a bit of feedback (which incidentally the crates do have), but otherwise it's smooth and clean. Level design is pretty good. Good job!

This was a very fun little game! I really enjoyed the "Super Mario Brothers" feel I got from it, especially since it involves a weapon (which I've always wanted in SMB rather than jumping on things). I especially enjoy the carrot boss at the end.

The only thing I found a little cumbersome was your choice on the jump buttons. I found using A or Up Arrow to be a little awkward when jumping, maybe having the Shift keys as the jump button would have helped? That being said, I think it's mostly personal preference.

Great job overall!

Well, that is definitely a fun game to play! Ninjas vs carrots ... Sounds like a concept ;)

I like the good old NES feeling and you have anest tileset there.

Keep it on!
