Railer Defenso by ItsSacraficed

[raw]
made by ItsSacraficed for LD32 (COMPO)
Hello,

Rainer Defenso is a sort of defense game, you need to kill the monsters before they go past you, if they go past you you lose a life, if you kill them you get money, after each wave a shop will appear and you can upgrade/buy some things, then when you hit the next round button the game will start a new round including more mob and eventually harder mobs.

Controls :
Arrow Up and Down to move,
Spacebar to Shoot,
M to mute sounds.

This is my 8th Ludum Dare Compo Entry and my 9th LD website entry :).

Errors :
if you get a msvc (or a missing .dll like that), try the included redist installer.

It's pretty neat idea combining shooter and cookie clicker.

I can't seam to figure out just what the Unconventional Weapon is. Otherwise I would recomend you should use art for the enemy that is the same size as thair hit box or make thir hitbox the same size as their art.

The health upgrades are expensive!

The upgrades scaled in cost pretty steeply. The earlier game was more about precision and resource management and later waves were more about just covering the field with ammo. Perhaps something like a speed upgrade could have made the progression a bit more dynamic/interesting.

Overall a fun experience for a few playthroughs.

Nice idea, a little redundant , but it was cool while it lasted.

Well, a game that depends on how fast you can mash is never a very good idea, but I've spent quite a bit of time playing it, so guess it worked > . <... Anyways, didn't really understand what I was shooting because of the graphics. Managed to make it to round 15. Pretty addicting. Good job!

Wasn't able to launch the game. It says "MSVCR110.dll is missing"

More fun than I though it would be. Maybe the weapon upgrade and life cost is a bit high.
