Roombacalypse by lucidsheep

[raw]
made by lucidsheep for LD32 (JAM)
What if a Vacuum wanted to Clean the World?

Click and hold to inhale objects. Larger objects take longer to inhale!
Click while full (green light blinking) to exhale a junk-ball of destruction!

TIPS

Inhaling bigger objects leads to bigger exhale shots that do more damage!
Helicopters can't be hit by bullets and can only be inhaled!
Each DEFCON level brings new enemies. Survive long enough at DEFCON 1 to trigger the ROOMBACALYPSE!!!

Fun theme and it works well with the crisp art and solid pacing. The gameplay is alright, being a killer sucking roomba is fun for a couple minutes but I'd like some more things to do, or objectives or something. Title screen is fantastic

KABOOM! I love this game! You've really poured your heart(s) into it, you can tell from the art and the actual thought that went into gameplay. You could totally release this as a mobile game and I'd buy the crap out of it!

Very satisfying to vacuum up objects. I was a little confused that you could vacuum up helicopters though. :D

What fantastic work! The graphics are killer, the music is great, and the gameplay of using your enemies as weapons is really cool. I'd turn down the screenshake when sucking up enemies though, as it can be a bit much on the eyes. Great job!

Nice! I like the feel of the game, that is, the speed of the tanks, the bullets, the running citizens are just feels good. Also the tanks' bullets can hurt themselves brings more strategy. Good job!

Oh no! You have awakened an insatiable desire within me to take over the world via vacuum cleaner! It will be all your fault when the world burns under my vacuum cleaner!

Seriously, though, awesome game.

Ahhh roomba death! I love the concept and the art. It's very intuitive and fun to play. I like that the music and sounds were subtle and made the explosions that much more satisfying.

Now if only those helicopters would just leave me alone.

Very straightforward and smooth control scheme. The graphics were polished as well. Nice touch adding the ability to vacuum up blood. The controls would transition nicely to mobile as well.

This is awesome, I can't really think of a way to fault it in its current implementation. It may be fun if you could also suck projectiles but that would probably make it too easy.

Good job!

The roomba probably moves a bit too slow but I absolutely love the concept. Definitely the most 'clean' fun I've ever had (and none of the mess) :V

Nice polished work, games runs very well (and doesn't take hours to load, which is always a risk whenever I see the Unity loader ^^)
Very fun to play, silly idea :D
