A place where the sun doesn't shine. Nothing and nobody wants to end up there, but everything does eventually. All you can do is delay the inevitable.\r\n\r\nSometimes, though, somebody comes along just to visit. Perhaps by chance, perhaps intentional, but the restless denizens of the Gameyard will stop at nothing to use them as stepping stones to escape their final fate.\r\n\r\nIn the Gameyard, only two things can end the suffering of those that reside: Supporting them and helping them escape for a while longer, or putting them out of their misery by Condemning them. Supporting those with high scores and condemning those with low scores is the easiest thing to do, but is it the right thing? That's up for you to decide.\r\n\r\n=============================================================================\r\n\r\nI had grander ideas for this game, but things didn't work out as planned. Then again, nothing does, does it? This game was made using Chirp Composer, GraphicsGale and GDevelop, a game engine I have never used prior to this jam. The story is lost, but hopefully you find the gameplay enjoyable.\r\n\r\nYes, I forced the player to use their mouse to play. I have my reasons. Apparently, you can play this game on your phone\/iPad browser as well, but I didn't design the layout properly.\r\n\r\nBugs: Winning Screen doesn't work for some reason. Gonna have to refresh the page if you want to play it again after winning.","title":"The Gameyard"}
