They Want Your World by Kalkatos

[raw]
made by Kalkatos for LD33 (COMPO)
So, you are a dragon and they want your world and all the living energy it has!

Don't let them take what is yours!

Now go to their devasted planet and destroy their homes!

--------------------

I gathered inspiration from other top themes to make this game. YOU ARE A MOSTER living in A WORLD IN THE SKIES and feed on GROWING THINGS.

--- Tutorial:

Destroy (with melee attack) all 5 enemy cities.
Protect your world from enemy cutters.
You die if you run out of HP, Energy or Stamina.

Arrow keys or WASD = move
Space or UP = fly (consumes stamina)
J = cast acid breath (consumes a lot of stamina)
K = regular melee attack

Nice game, a good idea with very good graphics, the animation of the dragon is really cool ! The only problem is that it is too easy. The enemies were never a real threat.

I died and when I came back, nothing spawned and I was able to freely roam.

Neat though.

I thought the mechanic of flying between worlds was really cool! Awesome dragon! I wish it wasn't so easy to kill myself by flying around though. :P

The graphics and look of the game were very amazing but it was a little boring since it seemed like the enemies could never really kill you.

this was an interesting little concept that i'd love to see more polished. Art was simple but good. Had some problems going from one planet to the other sometimes, the controls invert and it's not that intuitive.
I didn't really like the music, though.
Good job nonetheless! :)

At first I didn't notice there was another planet to go to (I should have read the description ^^)
It's really cool that you can go from one planet to another.
It is hard to know if you will have time to save one of your tree when it is under attack, maybe a progress bar of some sort would allow you to decide whether it's worth going back for it or not.
Cool game anyway :)

Great animations, cool overall concept, but a bit slow and boring. Never felt threatened. Nice job though!

Nice game! But winning was really to easy, when you don't react on the humans and just destroy their houses. But the greaphics and animations where really nice!

When i saw your screanshots i was excited by your graphics. I expected a bit longer gameplay. Why you stay of audio?
