Nice game idea but there were huge bugs like streets disappearing when going back. So I fell down then and couldn't do anything anymore. Sometimes I randomly clipped through the ground too and dashing often didnt work if there was something that was already destroyed in the way.

This was great. I really enjoyed the feeling of pseudo flying with the dash and exploding stuff was fantastic. It was a bit odd that buildings behind you would sometimes despawn so quickly which confused me a bit.

The player should not be able to go left because you can fall out of the map there.

I think you unload sections behind the player a bit too soon - there were a few times I went back a bit fell into an abyss (good thing I could dash my way back up).

I really liked this overall, the idea is quite unique and I like the mechanics, the game is quite fun to play around with for a while and I felt that the execution of gameplay was really well done. I absolutely loved the cute simplistic graphics style. I really liked the ambient audio and the drums at the menu but it could have done with some smashing and exploding sound effects for when you were on your rampage, it was quite funny in it's own way but I felt the lack of sound effects besides the police sirens (which I really liked) sort of tanked the mood. Very good overall, well done.

The explosion physics are incredibly satisfying!

A fine little physics toybox.

Sadly that's pretty much all there is to it already. I'm not sure why the game switches to an almost silent ambient noise music track once you actually start it instead of remaining on the rather funky menu music. This and the complete lack of sound effects make it a rather bleak entry.

Apparently the end of the world follows you as you move to the right, since as soon as you turn to the left there's a giant gap that you can fall down into and off the map. I'm guessing the world is cut off to reduce the amount of physics objects and increase performance. However, it would've been much better if the view was prevented from moving left at all, making it impossible for the player to jump off the map.

The movement of the character is very constrained and most of the time you'll just find yourself mashing the left and right mouse buttons to get around. Having the buildings be harder to demolish and making the jumping actually work well would've allowed a much less linear experience by forcing players to move up and around the buildings, rather than to just stand around on the ground and wait for the bomb to recharge.

Style wise the world itself looks alright, but the player character is oddly out of place in this. It would've been more fitting, and perhaps even funnier, to have a similarly block-like player, than this weird sprite form.

Speaking of sprite form, generally allowing the player to move around freely rather than being constrained to a single axis could have made this a lot more engaging already and help reduce the repetitiveness of it all.

"Goat Simulator 2D", where you crash yourself into everything to gain score. The graphics are very well done, but the game lacks any purpose, the controls feel clunky and it's just not really fun to cause mayhem. Lack of music during the gameplay hurts the mood, and the game could use a few more sound effects to make the destruction feel good. Lack of real danger other than falling through the floor if you go back a few inches makes the gameplay less engaging than it could be.

Overall I think this is a good template for a great game, but it still needs lots and lots of work.

Simple gameplay. Graphics are good. It would have been nice to have some mayhem death metal untouchable music... but I understand compo restraints :). Congrats on submitting your entry!

Pretty fun destroying things, you shouldn't have made it possible to fall off the map though :)
