Welcome to King Pong! A game developed in Python / Pygame.
You are King Pong! Play Pong the way all giant apes do, by bouncing a car back and forth.
The controls:
Player 1 - W / S
Player 2 - Up / Down
With six hours left to go, I realised I had a silly idea that might be simple enought to complete in time for submission. Plus, I got to try out my new, bottom-of-the-range graphics tablet.
Source is also available on BitBucket (branch ludum_dare). Game is tested on Windows and Linux.

Yay pygame!! Good work on the physics. Cool sounds and the car sprite gives the ball an interesting sense of heaviness

Okay, yes, it is literally just Pong, but you put a few nice touches in there, with the rotating car, the sound effects, and the angles depending on where you hit it. I thought the AI was just the right skill level, too.
